Welcome to Lester & Brenda's Log Cabin Adventure 

In the fall of 2006 we purchased about 12 acres of woodland in Lycoming County with the idea of building a log cabin on it some day. We looked at some log home kits and were discouraged with the cost of them.  We searched the internet and came across loghome builders.org website.  In Feb. 2007 we flew to Seattle Washington  and took the 2 day course.  We came away with the confidence that we could build a log cabin ourselves, well maybe with the help of family and friends.  We stayed at Wallace Falls Lodge, a beautiful log home built by a  couple that also took the same course.
